Kevin de Bruyne Shines with Two Goals and an Assist in Dominant Display

Manchester City moved within two points of Premier League leaders Arsenal following a comprehensive 4-1 victory over their title rivals at the Etihad Stadium. Kevin de Bruyne was in sensational form for the hosts, scoring twice and providing an assist in a dominant performance. Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland also got on the scoresheet as Pep Guardiola's side extended their unbeaten run to six matches. Arsenal started the game brightly and had the better of the early exchanges. However, City grew into the game and took the lead in the 24th minute when De Bruyne drove a low shot into the bottom corner. Grealish doubled the advantage just four minutes later, tapping in from close range after De Bruyne's cross. De Bruyne then made it 3-0 in the 38th minute, curling a magnificent free-kick past Aaron Ramsdale. Haaland added a fourth in the second half, heading home from a Riyad Mahrez cross. Eddie Nketiah pulled a goal back for Arsenal in the 90th minute, but it was mere consolation. The victory takes City to within two points of Arsenal, who have a game in hand.
