Race Recap
Vettel led the race from the start, but a safety car period on lap 29 allowed Button to close the gap. Button then passed Vettel on lap 38, and held on to take the win. Vettel finished second, followed by Mark Webber of Red Bull Racing and Lewis Hamilton of McLaren.
The race was also notable for its length, as it was delayed by rain for several hours. When the race finally got underway, it lasted for 4 hours and 4 minutes, making it the longest race in Formula One history.
Post-Race Comments
Button said after the race that he was "over the moon" with the win. "I never thought I would win this race," he said. "It was a tough race, but I'm so happy to have won."
Vettel said that he was "disappointed" to lose the race, but he congratulated Button on the win. "Jenson drove a great race," he said. "He deserved to win."
